Metal Roofing Review: $15K Less, Fast Installation & Lifetime Warranty!

Introduction

Hi, I’m Steven Duncan.

We had our roof put on this past Friday.

The Issue

We were gone on some family business for 11 days and we came home to find out that we had a leak in our roof while we were gone that intruded into the interior of our house and into the walls and caused significant damage there in the walls and the ceiling of the house.

So we decided at that point that, of course, the first thing to do was to stop the leak and remedy that problem.

Why Steven Chose Gator

And we looked around at several different companies and decided to give Gator a call simply because one, I saw their advertising said lifetime warranty.

Secondly, they actually answered the phone. I called four or five different places that leave a message, we’ll call you back.

And no, I’ve still to this day haven’t gotten phone calls back from some of those folks.

But Gator, they answered the phone.

They explained to me the process and I said, “Well, sure, let’s get this thing started.

Let’s come out and talk with us.”

And Ethan came out and showed us the different products or the product that he had.

I was impressed with the fact that he was able to show us that stuff in a model form and explain to us in detail how it all happened, how it all went together and how it worked.

So from the time we made the phone call, the initial phone call to the time the installation was done, I’ve been very transparent, very easy to deal with.

Gator Saved Steven $15,000

I did get an estimate from a local roofer here in the area and it was almost $15,000 more than what Gator had initially quoted us.

And I thought that was absolutely crazy.

In fact, I told him, “Thank you for your time. Now you can leave.”

The Installation

I am so happy with the installation.

Jose Martinez was my installer.

He was here on time every single time.

He told me he would be here at eight o’clock in the morning.

He was here at eight o’clock in the morning.

They worked Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and about four hours Monday to finish the job.

He never complained.

The metal got here the day before he showed up to do the job.

Gator called me, said that the metal was coming.

It showed up that day just like they said.

The very next day Jose came in, he said, “I want to start your roof.”

But unfortunately we had some really bad weather coming in and we both agreed that that day was not the day to start it.

So we opted for that next day, which was the Friday.

And he was here on time.

Him and his wife Lily, great team, great, great craftsmanship, absolutely professional.

Knew what he was doing.

Never one time did I see him half tail do anything.

He did it properly, he measured properly, did a great job.

Post Installation

I’m extremely happy with the installation.

They picked up, they cleaned up every time after they finished.

They cleaned up my yard.

They picked up every piece of metal.

They even took a magnet and went around and I can’t say enough good things about them.

They did a fantastic job.

Financing His New Metal Roof

We opted to go with the financing through the company that Ethan recommended.

That was simple, easy.

It was a 15 minute process maybe.

He did everything right here from his phone online and it was wham bam and we were done.

It was so simple.

It was crazy.

It was just so easy.

I would say it’s extremely affordable considering that your roof is one of your major…
Well, it is a major component of your house.

Without the roof, you don’t have a house and it’s the backbone.

It’s what takes the brunt of the weather.

So you’ve got to keep it in good shape.

And unfortunately our previous roofer was not as professional and detail oriented and trustworthy as I have seen with this company so far.

What Was The Selling Point?

I would say the selling point is definitely the customer service.

I never called Gator and got an answering service or a voicemail or a text message.

I always got a person to answer the phone, which to me in this day and time means a whole lot.

Secondly, the product. I was impressed with the product.

From the time that Ethan showed us the quality of the metal, I was impressed.

It was a lot sturdier than what was on our old roof was a little bit thinner metal and the way they put everything together, the materials.

I was very impressed with the company and overall, even the young man that brought the stuff out here on the delivery truck, great guy, very polite, very customer oriented.

The whole company is.

I think that they do a fantastic job.

Would Steven Recommend Gator

I would absolutely 100% recommend Gator.

In fact, I took some pictures during the installation.

I posted on Facebook, told them that the roof was only halfway done.

And I said, “I’m tickled to death. I’m super happy with my roof so far. Great job.”

Me personally, I’m the president of our local community watch here in this part of the Columbus County, and I’ve talked to several people there already that have come by and saw the work going on, wanted to know what I was doing.

They asked about the roofing, said, “Man, I need a good roofer.”

Yes, I would recommend.
